Riot gun?[]

What exactly is a riot gun? It seems to be a variant of a machine gun, but I'm not sure. I ask because I'm making a personal modification for my FA, and I'm considering replacing the riot guns with machine guns. However, I won't want to do that if the riot guns are separate weapons unto themselves.

In real life, a riot gun is supposed to be a non-lethal gun, for use during riot's. In supcom, the weapon's name is "Hell's Fury Riot Gun", which I guess is a play on words, as the weapon is quite lethal.
For all intents and purposes, they are basically machine guns. As the article says, they are equipped on the stinger gunship, the amphibious tank, and the fatboy. They have a low radius, but a very high muzzle velocity, rate of fire, and decent DPS. They, however, have no damage radius, making them usable only on 1 target at a time. happypal (Talk)Admin@SupCom.wikia.com 14:24, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

homing ability?[]

Long Range Cruise Missile description is: (...) "Some variants of this missile do not home in on their targets while the others do." Which variants do homing? I think this is quite interesting. Where can I find this attribute in the blueprint? I think it would be a good idea to add a homing-flag to all units descriptions of missile-units. 194.76.29.2 07:57, October 20, 2009 (UTC) Jashiro

If you've ever used UEF or Seraphim cruisers, you would know how much of a pain it is. They always miss their targets, because they don't home and in the distance involved, as soon as the unit moves the missle will miss...I don't know exaclty, actually. Resident Mario 22:20, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

In this current version of FA, no Tactical missiles (long range cruise missiles included, I believe) have any type of homing. Keldabe 16:57, October 22, 2009 (UTC)
