Collateral Damage refers to damage inflicted by a shell on surrounding buildings or units that is not intended. An example is Pillar tanks; in close quarter fighting, the shells often damage friendly Pillar tanks. Another example is if a T3 mass fabricator in a farm goes off, a chain reaction could be triggered due to the large amount of damage caused by an explosion. Perhaps the most common occurrence of this phenomenon is with T3 mobile artillery, which must be used with caution due to the extreme potential of friendly fire.
